What is Flame Retardant Workwear?
Flame retardant workwear is clothing designed specifically to protect from flames, hot splashes and objects and other fire-related risks. They are made not to melt or to spread flames further should a fire arise. Our workwear is manufactured with a flame retardant treatment built in, and our boiler suits and trousers consist of 300 Gram 100% cotton drill fabric for extra protection. Flame retardant workwear must be provided for workers in the oil and gas industries, as well as any roles where there is a risk of fire or sparks.
